Global Study Pathway
For students seeking international education
Singapore / Malaysia → Canada / New Zealand
Criteria
- High School / A Level / Foundation entry
- Able to fund international education (proof of funds is assessed by immigration authorities)
- Hospitality-specialised route available

- Per school requirements (academic records & English proficiency — e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo)
- Valid passport
- Financial evidence

Outcome
Study in Singapore or Malaysia, with progression opportunities to Canada or New Zealand.
English requirements are set by each school. Some immigration authorities (e.g. Immigration New Zealand) also consider English evidence when assessing genuine intent to study. Singapore: a Student's Pass is only issued for full-time study at an EduTrust-certified private institution.
Study + Work Pathway
6 months study + 6 months internship

- Ready for a hospitality internship
- Able to study in Singapore for 6 months
Documentation
- Per school requirements (academic records & English proficiency — e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo)
- Valid passport
- Student's Pass (ICA) for the study period
- Internship readiness
Outcome
6 months study + 6 months internship, with the opportunity to progress into full-time employment or further study in Canada or New Zealand.
Internship must comply with MOM rules: either an internship run by your institution as part of the course (only at institutions on MOM's list, e.g. EHL Campus Singapore), or an employer-applied Training Work Permit (up to 6 months). Training Employment Pass is valid for up to 3 months only. English requirements are set by each school.
Work Experience Pathway

Criteria
- Aged 18–25 at time of application
- Current student or graduate of a recognised university in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, UK or USA
- Undergraduates: resident and full-time student at that university for at least 3 months before applying
- Pass valid up to 6 months (MOM)
Documentation
- Valid passport
- Proof of current enrolment or graduation from an eligible university
- Resume / experience
Outcome
Work in Singapore for up to 6 months, explore potential employment, then return home or pursue an eligible next step.
Not available to students studying in Vietnam, Singapore or Malaysia. English: employer-dependent.

Eligibility for the Work Holiday Pass depends on age and study status at a recognised university in one of 10 eligible countries/regions, per MOM. Full-time employment is subject to employer requirements and applicable work authorisation. Progression to Canada or New Zealand depends on individual eligibility and programme requirements.
